The Master of Science in Curriculum and Teaching is awarded in the public sector and provides students with the necessary theoretical and practical background in contemporary trends in curriculum and teaching. Students have the opportunity to choose one of the 5 areas of the Program depending on their educational level and interests.
Recognized by DOATAP as being of equal status with equivalent of Greek universities.

The Master’s Degree Program “Educational Sciences: Curriculum and Teaching” aims to prepare teachers and researchers who can effectively respond to the contemporary challenges of education and the ever-changing social and learning needs. The program offers a comprehensive theoretical, research and practical background in Curriculum Studies, focusing on the processes of planning, implementing and evaluating teaching in modern learning environments.
Through the study of the most recent research findings, students delve into the concepts of learning, teaching, evaluation and educational policy, while developing critical thinking, creativity and educational design skills. Particular emphasis is placed on the development of innovative approaches that incorporate interdisciplinarity, new technologies and the connection of education with contemporary social challenges.
Upon completion of their studies, graduates acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to design, implement and evaluate effective learning experiences for different populations of learners. At the same time, they can work in educational organizations, education and training bodies, educational policy organizations and research centers. The research dimension of the program also offers a strong foundation for continuing studies and engaging in educational research at the doctoral level.

The program is aimed at teachers of all levels, education professionals, executives of educational organizations and scientists active in the field of formal, non-formal and informal education. It is an ideal choice for those who wish to delve deeper into the design and evaluation of curricula, strengthen their teaching and research skills, and acquire modern tools for managing complex educational issues.
In addition, the five special areas of emphasis of the program offer the possibility of specializing in Creative Writing in Education, Educational Technology, Visual Arts and Theater, Mathematics Education, as well as Sociocultural Aspects of Language Teaching.
Admission Criteria
For admission to the postgraduate program, candidates are required to hold a Higher Education degree from a higher education institution in Greece (A.E.I., T.E.I.) or abroad (recognized by DOATAP).

All the above supporting documents are collected and sent to the email address info@frederick.ac.cy
Subsequently, the Program Committee evaluates the candidate’s file and officially informs them of the outcome of the procedure, sending a relevant decision approving or rejecting the registration application.
In case of approval of the application, the candidate is informed of the next steps of the procedure and receives all the necessary information for the start of their studies.
