Frederick University is a private university operating in the Republic of Cyprus, a member state of the European Union. It began its operation in September 2007 following a decision of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Cyprus and following the successful, long-standing course of the Frederick Institute of Technology in education and research. In January 2012, the University received its final operating license following a decision of the Council of Ministers.

The equivalence and correspondence process is carried out directly by the graduate through the official DOATAP platform.
The recognition of academic qualifications is completed by the electronic submission of the relevant application by the graduate, the attachment of the necessary supporting documents (as defined by the organization) and the payment of the prescribed fee.

In the event that a student wishes to discontinue their studies, an official application must be submitted to the Program Secretariat.
Each request for discontinuation is examined individually. The University's Financial Committee is the one responsible for evaluating the data of each case and determining whether the conditions for a refund of the tuition fees paid are met, in accordance with the current financial policy of the Institution.

Studies may be interrupted for a period not exceeding two academic semesters and provided that the postgraduate program exists with the same structure.

If the final grade of the course ranges from 4 to 4.9, then the student has the right to repeat the exam in the next examination period, at a cost of €80. In case the final grade is less than 4, the student is obliged to re-select the specific course in the following semester, assuming the relevant tuition costs.

The University only assigns a retake exam to students who, for a serious reason, did not attend the regular exam of the course. Approval for participation in a retake exam is reviewed by the competent Program Committee upon submission of a relevant request and the necessary supporting documents by the student.

The exams are held exclusively online and the physical presence of students in examination centers is not required. The entire process is carried out through the University's specialized e-learning platform (LMS), using modern digital assessment and identification methods.
The exams are scheduled at the end of each academic semester (examination period). The detailed exam schedule is announced in a timely manner to students through the LMS platform, allowing them to plan their studies.

The programs are designed with flexibility in mind. The educational materials and video lectures are available on the platform 24/7, allowing the student to study on their own time, without any impact on their academic progress. Modern teleconferences are scheduled in a timely manner, usually at times that are convenient for employees.

The University provides ongoing technical support through a specialized helpdesk service to resolve any issues that arise with the distance learning platform (LMS).
