The Master’s Degree Program in International Trade and Maritime Management is funded by the public sector, provides students with the necessary knowledge and equips them with the appropriate resources to be able to develop business skills in the field of international trade.
Recognized by DOATAP as being of equal status with equivalent of Greek universities.

To successfully complete the programme, students must complete 90 ECTS credits. The compulsory courses have a total of 48 ECTS, while 12 ECTS are shared between elective courses, and the remaining 30 ECTS are attributed to the Dissertation.
Following the structure of the programmes offered at such institutions as the London School of Economics and Birkbeck College, University of London, the programme will be offered in the afternoons to accommodate working students. Each course will be offered over a 2-week period providing 36 contact hours over 12 days along with progress and final examination. 3 compulsory courses and one elective will be offered during the first and second semesters. The third semester solely focuses on the production of the Dissertation.

The student’s evaluation and the final grade of each course result from the netting of the graded educational activities during the semester and the final examination.
The Master’s Degree Program in International Trade and Maritime Management offers a modern and interdisciplinary approach to global trade, international transport and supply chains. It combines legal, economic and administrative dimensions of shipping and international trade, highlighting their connection to economic development and globalization.
Students gain substantial knowledge of the shipping and commercial industry, developing skills in assessing risks, seizing opportunities and making strategic decisions.

The program prepares graduates for careers in fields such as shipping management, logistics, import-export, insurance, ship finance and international trade and transport organizations.
Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to:
Candidates should hold a tertiary degree from a recognized University. Holders of a degree in Business Administration or any other relevant field are welcome, provided that they have significant work experience in an administrative position within a business environment. In addition, candidates with professional qualifications, such as membership in the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, or a Certificate of Competence as Master 1st Class or Chief Engineer, are also welcome, provided that they are accompanied by satisfactory experience in the business sector.
Admission Criteria
In order to be admitted to the postgraduate study program, candidates are required to hold a Higher Education degree from a higher education institution in Greece (A.E.I., T.E.I.) or abroad (recognized by DOATAP).

All of the above supporting documents are collected and sent to the email address info@frederick.ac.cy
Subsequently, the Program Committee evaluates the candidate’s file and officially informs them of the outcome of the procedure, sending a relevant decision approving or rejecting the registration application.
In case of approval of the application, the candidate is informed about the next steps of the process and receives all the necessary information for the start of their studies.
