The Duration of Studies is 3 academic semesters for full-time attendance and 6 academic semesters for part-time attendance.

The student chooses the Public Administration & Politics major in the 2nd semester of study having completed the core coursework (the first 6 mandatory courses of 5 ects).

The student’s evaluation and the final grade for each course result from the netting of graded educational activities during the semester and the final exam.

Purpose

The MBA Postgraduate Program with specialization in Public Policy and Administration aims to develop executives with a strong background in the management of organizations and in the formulation of public policy, capable of responding to the complex challenges of the modern economic, social and administrative environment. The program combines the basic principles of business administration with specialized knowledge in public administration and public policy, offering a comprehensive framework for the development of administrative, analytical and leadership skills.

Through a flexible distance learning process, students delve into thematic areas such as economics, financial management, accounting, marketing, human resource management and strategic planning, while at the same time acquiring specialized knowledge related to the formulation, implementation and evaluation of public policies.

Particular emphasis is placed on understanding the functioning of public organizations, making informed decisions, managing organizational change and utilizing new technologies to improve the effectiveness of organizations. Through the study of real cases, data analysis and the preparation of research work, students develop skills that can be utilized in both the public and private sectors.

Upon completion of their studies, graduates acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to assume positions of increased responsibility in public organizations, local government bodies, businesses and organizations, as well as to contribute to the design and implementation of effective public policies and development strategies

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to:

  • Apply modern administrative practices and human resource management methods in public and private organizations.
  • Analyze the economic and administrative environment and assess its impact on the operation of organizations and businesses.
  • Evaluate financial data, investment options and basic accounting information to make informed decisions.
  • Design and implement development, marketing and organizational improvement strategies.
  • Analyze, design and evaluate public policies taking into account their social, economic and administrative dimensions.
  • Understand the operation of public organizations and propose solutions for modernization and improvement of their efficiency.
  • Utilize digital tools and technologies for data analysis, business planning and administrative support.
  • Develop leadership, communication and negotiation skills in complex organizational environments.
  • Utilize research data and analytical methods to solve complex administrative and public policy issues.

The program is aimed at higher education graduates, executives of public and private organizations, professionals active in the field of administration and public policy, as well as those who wish to develop modern administrative and strategic skills.

Admission Criteria

For admission to the postgraduate study program, candidates are required to hold a Higher Education degree from a higher education institution in Greece (A.E.I., T.E.I.) or abroad (recognized by DOATAP).

Application Submission and Evaluation Process

All of the above supporting documents are collected and sent to the email address info@frederick.ac.cy

Subsequently, the Program Committee evaluates the candidate’s file and officially informs them of the outcome of the procedure, sending a relevant decision approving or rejecting the registration application.

If the application is approved, the candidate is informed of the next steps in the process and receives all the necessary information to begin their studies.
